Spectacular 3D Aquarium Backgrounds are based on the Coral reefs around the Galapagos Islands, this range of backgrounds create a realistic and interactive environment for cold, tropical or marine fish.

These products are trimmable aquarium backgrounds which can be made to fit many different aquariums by simply trimming the non-decorated border on the product. The aquarium background can be trimmed simply with a pair of sharp scissors or a craft knife and fixed with aquarium silicone.

All Spectacular 3D aquarium backgrounds and indeed filter products are hand carved from reticulated open cell foam in Ecuador and decorated with pumice stone and plastic plants.

The 3D aquarium background product routinely harbours huge amounts of beneficial bacteria. When installing these aquarium backgrounds it greatly improves the water quality as the water will circulate through the foam by the natural thermoclines in the aquarium (movement of warmer and coller water).
